Discount Paper Services
Discount Paper ServicesIf you want to cut costs and get an excellent paper service, the best choice is one that offers volume discounts. Paper can be a commodity. It's usually sold for a dollar per pound, and it can also come in bulk orders for ten or more pounds. You can purchase one or several paper packages for your company's needs and reuse them if they're beyond a reasonable amount.Cheap doesn't always mean low quality. When you buy discounted paper, you get the ability to customize the paper, which adds value to the product and saves you money. Each paper company will have their own paper catalog, and when you call to order your paper, ask about their discount programs. Every paper company offers some type of discount program. Some offer paper for printing non-commercial reasons; others just focus on commercial printing and will sell you paper for what you need.To take advantage of your paper in the most cost effective way, you should think about how many bills you print every month, whether your customers require credit card charges, if you've been accused of credit card fraud, and how many pieces of postage you'll be needing. Many companies will provide envelopes as well, especially if they're shipping multiple boxes of paper. Paper may be in a heavy plastic bag, but it can still be in a lightweight, flexible material. Most paper companies will have a list of paper types to choose from, which helps you find a product that fits your needs without overloading your printer. Many discount paper suppliers will offer different types of paper for your company's needs. Some offer easy-to-use size options for weight, and some offer option options for higher quality paper. For example, some providers offer paper that's full color, while others use only white paper. The options available to you are important to consider when shopping for your paper.Paper can come in a variety of sizes, depending on the firm or company that you choose. You may need to pay a higher p rice to get a larger paper size, such as a cubic foot, but it will last longer when you need it. In addition, larger paper has more surface area, which means it can hold more colors and materials, making it better for you to print logos and images. Some companies may offer the best deal by using the least amount of paper in the least amount of time. This means that you will save money and use less ink. However, it also means that the image quality will be poor, and the toner will not be as durable. This can cost you money in both ways. When you are looking for discount paper services, consider how many paper packages you will need and the number of colors to print. Compare what each provider has to offer, and talk to the staff to find out about their customer service. When you think about it, paper is a commodity and can be used anywhere. If you buy it at wholesale, you can save money on many fronts.

Independent Study
Sometimes gifted students want to learn about topics that are not offered at their own schools. Fortunately, these students do have an option when it comes to their studies. Independent study is a great way to shape a program to your own personal needs. What Is an Independent Study? An independent study is a course of study that a student pursues... well, independently. Students plan a course of study in cooperation with a willing advisor who also sticks around to make sure that the student stays on track and completes assignments and tests. Students pursue independent study for a variety of reasons. Usually, students look to independent study when they have an interest in a special topic thatââ¬â¢s not offered at most high schools. Some examples of special topics would be courses like Asian-American history, British Literature, or Chinese language. Beware! There are a few things to consider before you begin. First, you must be sure that you have space for an elective course in your diploma program. Donââ¬â¢t attempt an independent study if there is a chance that it will send you off your diploma schedule! Secondly, you want to make sure that any pre-packaged course you choose is sponsored by a reputable institution. There are some seedy programs out there. How Does It Work? Generally, there are two types of independent study programs: pre-packaged courses and self-designed courses. You will find that there are many pre-packaged online programs available from colleges and universities around the nation. While independent study courses have been a part of college studies for a long time, high schools are just getting around to offering independent studies for students. As a matter of fact, if you attend a small high school you may find that there is no policy at all. You may be the first student to ask, which means youââ¬â¢ll have some work to do. Check with your counselor to make sure that an independent study will fit in your diploma program. Of course, you want to graduate on time! Once you know itââ¬â¢s feasible, you can initiate the process of independent study by asking a teacher or counselor to serve as advisor. You will work with the advisor to decide the type of program to pursue. Designing Your Own Independent Study If you decide to develop a program, you may need to come up with a proposal package that you will submit to a panel of teachers, the guidance counselor, or the principal. Again, every school will have its own policy. In your proposal, you should include a course topic description, a syllabus, a list of reading materials, and a list of assignments. Your advisor may or may not choose to test you on the material. Often the final research paper will suffice. Pre-Packaged Independent Study Programs Many universities offer high school-level online independent study courses or courses that you complete through the mail. University programs have many advantages. The programs have been designed by university staff, and quite often they are monitored by staff as well. They are less work for you and your advisor. However, they do have one big drawback. You guessed itââ¬âthe price! Individual courses normally cost a few hundred dollars. You can sample a few programs that are available through Brigham Young University and the University of Oklahoma.

Student Rights Censorship, Privacy, And Speech - 1695 Words
In the United States, students have slightly different rights in school than outside of school. While outside of school, students are considered and viewed as normal members of society. However, when in school, different things are expected of students. That is why students have slightly different rights in school than outside. The supreme court has taken many cases related to students that cover all areas of their rights. This paper will cover three main areas of student rights: censorship, privacy, and speech. Students censorship rights are one of the rights that are different from the outside world. Unlike the news, which can t be censored at all in the United States, school papers can be censored under certain circumstances. For example, in the supreme court case Hazelwood v. Kuhlmeier, a school paper from a Journalism class was censored for having an article about a divorce and two teenage pregnancies in the school and included close examples that were almost specific to the students involved. The principal of the school told them that even though their names were changed, the students in the articles were too specific and that they had to remove the articles to protect their privacy. However, since there was no time to edit the articles before pressing, the pages had to be removed entirely from the paper. Eventually, the students took their case to their district court, arguing that the school s actions were unconstitutional and violated their first amendmentShow MoreRelatedModern Tec hnology And Its Effect On Society Essay1457 Words à |à 6 Pagesthe rights and privacy of their citizens. Essay on Rudolph Giuliani - 877 Words
Coming from another state I had not heard or learnt about Rudy Giuliani prior to the September 11th terrorist attacks in 2001. I could not have told you the Mayor of New Yorks name before the attacks, but as the rubble was cleaned up and the spirit and patriotism of America grew, Mayor Giuliani was front and center. Such a disastrous situation could not have been handled as cautiously and swiftly as Giuliani handled it. It became quite clear that Mayor Giuliani was not your average politician, because your average politician would not have ran to the scene of such tragedy, they would of immediately taken hide in a safe house. President Bush made an appearance down at Ground Zero, but that was to enhance is image, Mayor Giulianiâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Then again, it could just be a perk of being the Mayor. Although Mayor Giulianis legacy will forever be intertwined with the terrorist attacks of September 11th, the finger print he left is more then just that, and is certainly, like all other finger prints, one of a kind. One of the first missions for Mayor Giuliani coming into his term as Mayor was to improve the quality of life for New Yorkers. He did just that. Throughout the time period of Giulianis two terms the crime rate has dropped nearly fifty seven percent and murder has dropped sixty five percent. Those are amazing numbers considering New York City is known throughout the world for its dangerous streets. Whats most impressive is the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) has named New York City the safest large city in America for the past five years. Once known for its corrupt law enforcement, New York Citys NYPD has become a model for other police forces across the country. When Giuliani become Mayor nearly fourteen percent of New York City residents were on welfare. Mayor Giuliani established the biggest and most successful welfare-to-work movement in America. The Rise of Totalitarianism
Question: What were the origins of these governments, their accomplishments, and their failures? What accounts for the fact that the masses mobilized to support these movements? Elaborate. Answer: There is a difference between the communism and fascism. In communism, people will work for the government. Redistribution of collective output is practiced in the state. Union between the people and the structure of the government is not present in the fascist form of government. Communism refers to an international system or theory of a social agency that is based on the holding of the common properties with the ownership that are ascribed to the state or community. In this form of government, an extreme distrust of capitalism and rejection of free markets are in any country (Brewer et al., 2014). Fascism is described as an extremely authoritarian and nationalistic state that is led by a single person in a single party. It is characterized by not having any free market, individualism glory, democratic election of representatives and individual glory. The media and the press are controlled by the state. Communism form of government is examples of planned economy, centralized government, and the dictatorship of the proletariat. There is no private property and common ownership regarding various tools of production. Usually, there is equality between genders and international focus. Fascism government is a centralized form of government with actual idealism, planned economy, social Darwinism, meritocratic, Nazism, and extreme nationalism (Passmore, 2014). In the both forms of government, one party system and anti-democratic are the standard features. Different political movements have occurred in the communist form of government such as Trotskyism, Leninism, Maoism, Stalinism, and Marxism-Leninism. The public of the state following communism supports these movements. In fascism form of government, Falangism, National Socialism, neo-Nazism, Strasserism, neo-fascism, and national Bolshevism are the political actions that have occurred earlier (Brewer et al., 2014). Meditative Rose Essay Example For Students
Meditative Rose Essay Salvador Dali: Meditative Rose Salvador Domingo Dali was a Spanish surrealist painter. He was born in Figueres, Spain in the year 1904 and died in 1982. He can be considered to be one of the truly great all-rounders in the arena of Arts as he excelled in an expansive artistic repertoire included film, sculpture and photography (ââ¬Å"Meditative Roseâ⬠). Considered to be highly imaginative, he had an eternal urge draw the attention of others to himself. His painting skills are often attributed to the Renaissance Masters. Dali was best known for his striking and bizarre images. Dali employed extensive symbolism in his works, the most often employed being elephants, eggs and watches. His painting, ââ¬ËRose meditativeââ¬â¢, done during 1958, is a rare deviation from his favorite theme of surrealism. This is an oil-on-canvas painting, measuring 36 cm * 28 cm. The single rose without stem, suspended in air, is suggestive of contemplative meditation. Description A single rose, in brilliant red color, without its stem, is seen suspended in mid-air. The sky, in typical blue with silver clouds, occupies most of the space in the display with the rose situated in the center. The landscape is at the lower end of the painting; it is presented in a dwarfing and dreary manner. With the rose painted on a massive scale, two tiny figures, standing close together, are visible on the ground. The shadows of the tiny figures are seen stretching across. Analysis The roseââ¬â¢s presence is deliberately ambiguous; one wonders whether the rose is real! Does it really exist or is it an imagination? The title, Rose Meditativeââ¬â¢, raises a question on the observerââ¬â¢s relation to the nose. Probably, the rose may meditate or contemplate us. As we look and study it, we may be seen contemplating it. Thus, a strange mutual thinking relationship can be seen. Streaks of the Hindu philosophy come into play as we can see the rose as suspended ââ¬ËOmââ¬â¢. Also, the brilliant red color of the rose can be interpreted as auspicious, again, a Hindu-based strong belief (ââ¬Å"Aaron art prints: Meditative Roseâ⬠). This brilliant red color comes as a stunning contrast against the blue sky dotted with silver clouds. When we go down lower to the landscape, one notes the dull warm earth tones. Seen in the background is the yellow-colored horizon rising above the landscape. Interpretation While interpreting the painting, it would be worthwhile to understand the experience of Dali when he did the painting. He had broken away from the surrealists and had become even more intensely individualistic person (ââ¬Å"Rose Meditativeâ⬠). All the art work done during this period tends to reflect this aspect by being unique in their category. Daliââ¬â¢s main theme on ââ¬Ërose meditativeââ¬â¢ can be interpreted as an effort to bring an order to a state of delirium and hallucination. In other words, describing a dream in a vivid style, while being fully awake! Dali himself called this method a simulated madness. The images can be considered to be visual paradoxes: in this painting, the rose is of an abnormally large size, the construction of the skyline, the rose and the landscape are incongruous. Through these ambiguous facets, Dali is successful in bringing out mystical and chaotic aesthetic elements as the most striking features in his paintings. Conclusion Salvador Dali, the surrealist painter, stands unique in the methods he adopted to combine mystical and chaotic elements with some real situations. Rose Meditativeââ¬â¢ is one of his masterpieces, is extraordinary in its vivid style of portraying the three different elements of nature, namely, the sky, the land and the plants in three different colors. The clear blue sky may represent the joys of oneââ¬â¢s life and the gloomy landscape, the sorrows of oneââ¬â¢s life. Works Cited ââ¬Å"Meditative Roseâ⬠. Aaron Art Prints. n. d.
